Freddie & Charlie

Brothers aren't always the easiest to shoot, they can change from shy to overactive in a heartbeat, but Freddie was very good with his baby bro and gave him lots of love, hugs and kisses for the camera.

Of course, there was also the inevitable mini temper tantrums, but isn't that to be expected with kids!

Little Charlie looked especially cute in the little hats that mummy bought along...

I'm looking forward to taking photos at Charlies Christening in December when he'll be just a little bit older, and a even more responsive to the camera.

Thanks for bringing them over Lisa - I had a lovely time & hope you like the pictures x

Georgia's Christening

I was privilaged last weekend to be asked by Nic & Kev McCammon to photograph their beautiful daughter Georgia being Christened.

Luckily the priest was very easy going and I was allowed to set up my tripod near the front where I had a great view but wasn't in the way.

After the ceremony I tried to get candid photos of all the guests. I was ammused when some of the male guests tried to hide from the camera and commented under their breath that it was a Christening, not a Wedding - Men just don't get it do they!

Georgia was an absolute angel all day and the reception in a Marquee at Nic's mum and dads was blessed with October sun which added to the relaxed atmosphere.

Thank you for including me in your day Nic & Kev.  I hope you like the photos xxx

Lauren's Horses & Dogs

I had a diversion from my recent shots of babies & toddlers and had a shoot of Horses & Dogs for my friend Lauren last week.

We got some fabulous photos of the horses cantering around the fields, but my personaly favourites were the close-ups taken with a wide angle lense.

Hope you like the photos Lauren xxx

Reece & Jack

This was probably one of the hardest shoots I've had so far.  Toddlers Reece and Jack refused to stay still for more than 1/2 a second making it almost impossible to avoid blur with my manual-focus lense.

I've become used to shy kids who gradually start showing off for the camera but this was something else.
When I did manage to get them to stay in the same spot for more than a few seconds it was only because they were jumping up and down on the sofa or banging the drums.

Somehow I eventually managed to get some nice shots, in-between the darting from one side of the room to the other.

I think I learnt new skills with this shoot and by the end I even managed to get them to sit together (sort of).

I don't know how you do it everyday Lindsay... maybe we'll try again another time soon?

Illayda Dagistan-Kaya

Illayda must have the most beautiful eyes i've ever seen.

I struggled a bit to get some pictures where she wasn't sucking her toes, but we got there in the end.

Thank you Ulka for letting me photograph you beautiful little girl. I hope you are happy with the photos.
